‘There was an overwhelming response from the schools to see David’s sessions and unfortunately some classes were not accommodated. David’s reputation as a well known children’s Western Australian author and popular presenter meant he was much sought after by schools….David’s flamboyant and humorous style certainly captured the children’s imagination..’ City of Nedlands.

Fantastic presentation! David had great energy and really held the 3 classes’ attention the entire time. Many of the children were familiar with his work and were excited, others really warmed to his enthusiasm. A great promotion for children’s books and authors! (Years 4, 5, 6)
Excellent presentation! All the children were enthralled from start to finish – even the year 6’s. We’d definitely like to listen to David again. Fabulous inspiration! I’m sure the kids couldn’t wait to start writing. I especially liked the use of the 5 senses to use in their writing. (Years 4, 5, 6)
Interactive and amusing session! Informative and interesting storyteller! David brought stories to life letting the children know they could write about any event in their life and adapt it to make a great story. Very entertaining! (Year 5)
