I’ve read a few of these books and the standard is always high. For the age category they are excellent. I recommend a competent Year 2 or Year 3 reader.

This book is filled with jokes about a few subjects. I think children would love playing with language, particularly jokes. This book will also motivate children to write and to play in costume boxes.

My only criticism: I found the number of stories retold to the class tedious and I skipped over some of them. Maybe there was a word count or page count that the publisher expected. I suppose there are about 5000 words… maybe?

I recommend these books.
