I just reread Sally Morgan’s book ‘Sister Heart’.

I recommend it highly for Children in Years 4 to 7. For older readers too?

It is a simple story of a child of The Stolen Generation. It will encourage plenty of reflection and discussion.

Written in verse so not a long read, which is good for reluctant readers.

Good stuff.
