181. We dress up for Halloween, share ghost stories, and watch a scary movie.

182. The teacher plays a 10 minute game of silent ball that actually lasts 20 minutes.

183. We fill up one of the teachers’ old shirt and trousers with scrunched up newspaper, stick a monster mask on it, and sit in the spare chair in the classroom for Halloween. We also make a ghost, carve a pumpkin, and spread spider web around the room.

184. I am part of the class singing ‘Happy Birthday’ to someone else, and watching them smile.

185. The teacher realises that I will NEVER get a hundred per cent in ANY spelling test, so s/he lets me play spelling games instead of sitting a test. (I think I like spelling now, but before, I hated it.)
