238. After parent interview night, I find a note of encouragement in my desk, from my mum or dad.

239.The class is stuck inside on a beautiful day and the teacher says, ‘Oh my Gosh. It is DEARO’ time. It is DEARO time.’ And someone asks, ‘What is ‘Dearo Time’?’ and the teacher says, ‘Drop Everything And Read Outside Time. Get your hats. Get your most excellent book, and line up at the door.’

240. I am having trouble doing a test and the teacher stops at my desk, stares at me, and says in a loud voice, ‘I am not going to mention any names, however, someone needs to check their booklet because they may have missed a question. And I am not looking at anyone in particular.’ But he is looking straight at me.
